🌧 A great afternoon at The Nags Head ☀️

The Bradfield Brewery Sheffield Steeldogs would like to thank our title sponsors for putting on the BBQ today at the Nags Head.

John and Sue Gill and family were kind hosts and made everyone feel welcome at the event.

It was great to see so many Steeldogs fans come along to say hello to some old hands and put names to the new faces at the club.

Fans came out in good numbers despite the grey weather, which turned to heavy rain before brightening up later and bathed the pub car park and bouncy castle in glorious sunshine.

The new jerseys were on sale and were being snapped up. The Alaskan blue was most popular with many fans placing their orders.

The team were signing shirts, photos and mini sticks and having a real good catch up together and with the Dogs fans.

Both Ben Morgan and Lewis Bell said how they were looking forward to getting started in the league, facing old enemies and of course making new rivalries. The new players at the club are settling in well to Sheffield life and can’t wait to get their skates on and get down to business.

There was a free draw for a lucky fan to perform the puck drop and present the man of the match awards at the home game next Sunday which was won by Richard Murton, who had come from Bridlington for the event. His boys will do the honours next weekend.

So thanks once again, to Bradfield Brewery for doing us proud with the beer and burgers and to everyone who made it such a great start to the season.
